“If we go to budget consolidation now, we would create serious macroeconomic risks” said Elman Rustamov Chairman of Central Bank at the meeting of the Committee on Economy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Majlis on the 2021 budget envelope, APA reports.
The Chairman has said that Azerbaijan Government makes very serious and well-thought economic maneuvers in order to support country’s financial buffer: “Potential resources are used, macroeconomic stability is ensured. The large-scale assistance is provided to the people and economic entities. There must be a strategy to get out of this policy. But, firstly, the conditions must be created for this. If the pandemic situation is resolved, we will develop a strategy to get out of this situation from the budget of 2022” he said.
