In January-July of this year, the volume of trade exchange between Azerbaijan and Iran made up USD 179 275,86 thousand which is 48% less in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report of State Statistics Committee.
In the first seven months of the current year the volume of export from Azerbaijan to Iran made up USD 20 787,61 thousand which is 18% less in comparison to the related period of 2019.
The volume of import made up USD 158 488,25 thousand, this the indicator decreased by 2 times in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
As a result, during the reporting period, there was negative balance in the amount of USD 137 700,64 thousand, which is 2,1 times less in annual comparison.
