Central Bank of Azerbaijan gets 2% rise in liabilities on operations with IMF

In 2017 Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s (CBA) liabilities stood at AZN 18,122,382,000, down 8% from previous year.

Bank says the short-term deposits of resident banks at CBA declined by 26% to AZN 4,389,826,000.

Liabilities to governmental departments amounted to AZN 1,530,229,000, to credit organizations – to AZN 2,070,918,000.

Moreover, CBA’s liabilities on operations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased by 1.83% to AZN 373.229 million, liabilities to international financial institutions rose by 8.5% to AZN 4.693 million.
