According to the ministry, Central Bank’s appeal on providing state guarantee for AZN 460 million loans to be allocated to the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) was considered at the meeting.
It was noted at the meeting that allocation of loan to ADIF aims to eliminate the lack of liquid funds for payment of compensations to eth Bank Standard’s depositors.
Taking into account the protection of depositors’ rights, increase of the confidence in the banking system, as well as ensuring of sustainability of the banking system, the ministry made a decision to provide state guarantee for AZN 460 million loans to be allocated to the ADIF.
