As of December 1, 2016, deposits placed by the population in the banks amounted to AZN 7,605,800,000, of which AZN 1,430.5 million (18.81%) are in national currency, AZN 6,175,300,000 (81.19%) in foreign currency.
Compared to the previous year, the personal savings declined AZN 238.6 million or 14.3%. Savings in foreign currency increased AZN 754.8 million or 13.9%.
Along with this, manat deposits rose AZ 32.9 million or 2.4%, the deposits in foreign currency grew AZN 159.8 million or 2.7% in November.
