Baghdad Amreyev: "The Turkic world has become stronger due to the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity"

Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev congratulated the President of Azerbaijan on the victory at the informal meeting of the leaders of the Turkic Council member states, APA reports

Amreyev said the Turkic world has established stable relations with other countries and more than 10 countries are interested in obtaining observer status in the organization. Amreyev also noted that the pandemic gave a new impetus to cooperation within the Turkic Council, and made a number of proposals for the summit to be held in Istanbul. The Secretary General of the Turkic Council also congratulated Azerbaijan on its brilliant victory: “Despite all the challenges and difficulties, the agenda for 2020 was rich. Last year was a really productive and even victorious year for the Turkic world. The Turkic world has become even stronger due to its significant achievements, most importantly the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation, the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. During the war in Nagorno-Karabakh all member states of the Turkic Council and Your Excellency have supported Azerbaijan by all means. Let me express my gratitude to His Excellency, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his efforts to develop multifaceted cooperation as the current chairman of the organization."
