"Nikol Pashinyan could respond at an international event again", said Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Sahiba Gafarova at the meeting held today, APA reports.
According to her, the summit of Eastern Partnership states was held in the form of video conference yesterday: "Head of state stressed at yesterday's meeting that we are already at the final stage of the negotiations regarding new cooperation agreement with the European Union and 90% of the text has already been prepared."
"In this stage holding a summit is very essential for the future development of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan. Another point of the speech of Mr. President, which is worth mentioning, is his exposure Armenian Prime Minister for the next time. Honorable President brought Azerbaijan's determined and fair position on the resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict to the attention of the international community once more. Head of state exposed Armenian authority's attempts to violate negotiations with an open text and said that Armenia does not follow relevant documents, adopted by international organizations regarding the conflict, conducts illegal settlement policy in occupied territories, tries to destroy content and format of negotiations. Armenian Prime Minister has become helpless in front of undeniable facts and proofs, sounded by Azerbaijani President, in front of the international community once more," she said.
