Azerbaijani PM: “Chirac put a lot work into resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov has extended his condolences on the death of former French President Jacques Chirac, APA reports.

The Prime Minister noted in his post, shared on Twitter account, that he was very sad over the death of prominent political and state figure, 22nd president of France during 1997-2007 Jacques Chirac.

“President Chirac, who specially approached to inter-state relations, had great influence in the international environment. He put a lot work into the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in accordance with norms and principles of international law. The memory of President Jacques Chirac will be remembered for a long time”, the PM noted.
