On October 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan hosted an event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, APA reports citing Foreign Ministry.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the management of the Foreign Ministry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, as well as the administration and employees of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event began with the national anthems of both countries.
Speaking at the event, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, noted with satisfaction that the relations between the two countries have risen to the level of strategic partnership in 30 years.
Speaking later, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, conveyed his congratulations to the event participants on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud spoke with satisfaction about the successful implementation of a number of joint projects between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
At the end of the event, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
