Azerbaijani PM extends condolences to his Kazakh counterpart

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Prime Minister Asadov took the opportunity to congratulate Alikhan Smailov on the occasion of his appointment as the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He also extended his deepest condolences to the families of those killed as a result of events that occurred in Kazakhstan.

During the talks, the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in various fields was praised, and hope was expressed that the relations would be further strengthened and expanded through joint efforts.
