ICRC office in Azerbaijan appoints new head

On June 22, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev met with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan Arian Bauer, whose term is coming to end, and the new head of the mission Dragana Kojic, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.

Kamran Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the necessary assistance provided by the committee in the process of finding and exchanging prisoners and missing persons during the war.

Bauer briefed on the ICRC's activities in Azerbaijan regarding the provision of humanitarian assistance to Azerbaijani citizens affected by the conflict, security, physical and psychological health of civilians living in the frontline areas, the fate of missing persons, its projects, important work, as well as training, and shared his good impressions of our country during his activity.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and congratulations, the new head of the mission Dragana Kojic said he would spare no effort to further develop relations for the development of bilateral relations, as well as cooperate with law enforcement agencies, including the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
