On March 16-17, 2023, at the 49th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Nouakchott, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, 5 resolutions proposed by our country were adopted, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.
The resolutions named “Eliminating the consequences of the aggression of the Republic of Armenia against Azerbaijan”, “Support for economic and social development activities in the Republic of Azerbaijan’s liberated areas from the occupation” and “As a result of the aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan, the destruction and desecration of historical and cultural monuments and traces of the Islamic religion in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan” resolutely condemn the occupation and aggression policy committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan for about 30 years, and support is expressed for Azerbaijan in the field of eliminating severe consequences of the occupation as well as in restoration and reconstruction works.
