New head appointed to “Microsoft” in Azerbaijan

A new general manager has been appointed to "Microsoft Azerbaijan" Company, APA-Economics reports.

Gachay Mirzayev has been appointed to the post of new General Manager of the "Microsoft Azerbaijan". He has replaced Sarkhan Hashimov in this post. G. Mirzayev will also work as a cloud infrastructure solutions expert in the Company.

G. Mirzayev approved the news to APA-Economics and stated that any change has not been carried out in strategy of the Company.

“As always, we will continue to cooperate with state structures, as well as bring “Microsoft” global experience to Azerbaijan, support the country in digital transition, and optimize expenditures of local companies by presenting cloud solutions to them within framework of the strategy”, noted G. Mirzayev.

Note that G. Mirzayev worked as a strategical technologies manager of the Microsoft in CIS area before.
