First freight train to be sent through BTK after two months

“Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway has good transportation perspectives”, Giorgi Gakharia. Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia said, APA’s Georgia bureau reported.

According to him, the railway line will connect Chine and Europe: “BTK is designed for all types of freights and there are already proposals about transportation of cargo containers from Kazakhstan to Turkey”.
