Finalized Global Firepower ranking utilizes over 50 individual factors to determine a given nation's PowerIndex ('PwrIndx') score with categories ranging from military might and financials to logistical capability and geography.
The United States ranks first among the 140 countries on the list. Russia and China took second and third places, respectively. Azerbaijan ranks 63rd among the world's strongest armies, while Armenia is 97th and Georgia is 88th.
The Turkish army ranked 13th among the strongest armies in the world. Pakistan took the ninth position, while Iran was 14th. France ranked 7th, Great Britain was 8th place and Germany is 16th.
The last three places in the list are occupied by Somalia, Kosovo, and Bhutan, respectively.
