"Our citizens of Armenian origin, who were removed from the territory by applying to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, are placed in the appropriate camps, and their food and medical supplies are kept in order," the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, lieutenant colonel Elshad Hajiyev said, APA reports.
He said that the protection of Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin in the area is the focus of the state: "Risky and dangerous objects remaining from Armenian illegal armed groups are identified. Those places are identified and checked."
