President of Azerbaijani IEPF: “More than 10,000 square kilometers of territories, liberated from occupation, polluted with military ammunition"

More than 10 thousand square kilometers of territories, liberated from the occupation, have been polluted with military ammunition, said President at International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) Umud Mirzayev, APA reports.

According to him, Armenians have used every kind of military ammunition during the war: “During the war, more than 2,500 shells were fired at Tartar. The target of the Armenians was mainly civilians. Currently, more than 10 mines have been detected in every square meter of the territories cleared from the mines. There are some places that, mines have been closely set up”.

He noted that the first problem in the restoration of the territories and returning of IDPs to the region is to clear territories from the mines, and security issues.
