“The increase in the number of coronavirus infections since mid-March has allowed the Ministry of Education to decide on the transition to online education in 5 cities and regions,” said Mehriban Valiyeva, Head of the Baku City Education Department, APA reports.
M. Aliyeva noted that totally, 1086 students and 695 teachers over the Baku schools have been infected with coronavirus: “739 students and 466 teachers of those have been infected with the coronavirus in the last 14 days. That is why I think that the taken step is the right decision”.
