Fines for violating anti-epidemic regime, sanitary-hygienic and quarantine regimes increased

The amount of fines for violating the anti-epidemic regime, sanitary hygienic and quarantine regimes are being increased, it has been reflected in the draft law on an amendment to Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Article 211 of Code of Administrative Offenses is suggested in the new edition in the draft law.

So, if currently individuals are fined in the amount of AZN 100-200 for violating anti-epidemic regime, sanitary-hygienic, and quarantine regimes, it is suggested individuals to be fined in the amount of AZN 200-400, in the draft. It is suggested to impose fine on officials in the amount of AZN 3000-4000 instead of AZN 1500-2000.

Currently, according to the circumstances of the case, taking into consideration the identity of the person who committed offense, administrative arrest for a month is applied, the legal entities are fined in the amount of AZN 2000-5000. According to the circumstances of the case, taking into consideration the identity of the person who committed offense, the apply of administrative arrest for a month remains in force, and it is proposed the legal entities to be fined AZN 4000- 10.000 in the draft.

The draft law has been put on the vote and adopted.
