Use of beaches banned in Azerbaijan’s eight cities and regions from June 21 until July 5

In order to ensure toughening of special quarantine regime for the purpose of reduction of speed of spreading of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, as well as bringing down to minimum the aggravations that could be caused by this virus, the use of beaches on the territory of Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region is banned from 00:00 a.m. on June 21 until 06:00 a.m. on July 5, the press secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers Ibrahim Mammadov told APA.

He said according to clause 211 of the Administrative Offences Code, the persons violating the anti-epidemic, sanitary and hygienic and quarantine regimes bear responsibility.
