“Today, President Ilham Aliyev is a founder of modern, developed Azerbaijan and ensured the return of our people to Karabakh with historic victory after 30 years,” said President of ANAS Isa Habibbayli at the meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, APA reports.
According to him, during the past two years, the salvation and constructive mission of the head of the country in the Patriotic War has not been properly reflected in the scientific literature, and a complex approach and fundamental research are needed in this direction: “I would like to especially emphasize one issue that the spelling of “Qarabağ” should be in a single format and reflecting the name as “Karabakh” in the international arena is not a proper approach. Turkish Parliament has already adopted a decision on the spelling of the name of “Türkiye” not as “Turkey”, but as “Türkiye”. And I think that we also should take a relevant step on the spelling of the name “Qarabağ” in a single format- “Qarabağ”.
