Azerbaijan develops waste management project in liberated territories

"Azerbaijan has launched a new project for waste management in the territories liberated from occupation," said the head of the Department of Environment and Labor Protection at "Tamiz Shahar" OJSC, said Sabuhi Babayev, APA reports.

He said that the installation of sanitary landfills is planned in the liberated territories.

"Areas have already been selected in Zangilan, Lachin, Fuzuli, Gubadli, and other districts. Those areas were cleaned by ANAMA. Currently, the design work of the process is being carried out."

He said that it is planned to build sanitary landfills in the territories freed from occupation.

"Areas have already been selected in Zangilan, Lachin, Fuzuli, Gubadli, and other districts and were demined by ANAMA. At present, drafting of the process is carried out."
