Second phase of population resettlement in Agali village was completed

Today, the second stage of relocating the population in Agali village of Azerbaijan's liberated district of Zangilan was completed, APA reports.

The next group of IDPs consisting of 13 families (62 people) was sent to their homeland from "Zangilan town," located in Masazir settlement of Absheron region.

According to the Great Return, 125 members of 25 families were sent to Agali village in the second stage. The first caravan of 12 families (63 people) ended their life as refugees on September 7. Another 13 families left for Agalı village on September 10.

The resettled families were mainly selected from among those living in the most difficult conditions in temporary settlements, and the size of the residential areas provided for relocating was taken into account. Residents of First, Second, and Third Agalı villages are among the relocated persons.
