"In order to maintain the peace and prosperity that has been established in the South Caucasus for a long time, Armenia must give up its attacks, provocations and insults and seize this opportunity," APA's local bureau reports.
The statement came after a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The statement called on the Armenian leadership to cooperate with the countries of the region, remaining true to its commitments.
It should be noted that the meeting of the NSC lasted up to 3.5 hours.
