In January-September of this year, the volume of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with the CIS countries increased by 9,8% compared with the same period of the previous year, and reach USD 3,237 bln, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report published by the State Customs Committee.
During this period, the volume of export increased by 30,2% in comparison to the same period of the previous year and made up USD 1,248 bln, while import slightly increased by 0,03% and made up USD 1,989 bln.
As a result, in the first nine months of the current year, there was USD 741,413 mln negative trade balance, which is 28% less in comparison to the same period of 2020.
