The members of the International Nizami Ganjavi Center addressed letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

The letter reads as follows:

“Dear Mr. President,

Currently, we are tracking the situation in Azerbaijan with great concern. The news about killing of civilian persons in historic and very significant Ganja City cause serious concern.

We in Ukraine understand well the disappointment that you are experiencing because of occupation of your country’s territory by an external force that blatantly violated international law and failure of the international organizations to show proper response to this.

Mr. President, we, the members of the Trustees’ Council of the International Nizami Ganjavi Center stand by You. We closely cooperate with our co-chairs and general secretary for coordination of necessary measures in order to conduct propaganda works regarding this problem.

We pray for your country and your people.

Best regards,

Viktor Yushenko

President of Ukraine during 2005-2010

Member of InternationalNizamiGanjaviCenter

Katerina Yushenko

The first lady of Ukraine during 2005-2010
