President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received delegation led by Valery Gerasimov, the First Deputy of Defence Minister of Russian Federation - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, army general, APA reports citing the Presidential press-service.
During the meeting noted the importance of holding significant international talks on a regular basis in Baku.
Sides underlined the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in all fields and expressed satisfaction with the expansion of military and military-technical cooperation during the meeting.
Issues related to the development prospects of military and military-technical relations were discussed at the meeting.
