Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IPIS) Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour and Hakki Uygur, chair of the Center for Iranian Studies (IRAM) in Ankara has visited Aghdam Juma Mosque within the framework of the visit to Aghdam, APA’s local bureau reports.

Guests have got acknowledged signs of damage to the mosque, vandalism committed by Armenians around the mosque during the occupation.

They have been informed that Armenians destroyed, razed to the ground Islamic monuments, mosques in all territories, kept under occupation, maintained animals in sacred places, committed other war crimes.

Photos, taken by Armenian tourists reflecting keeping animals in the mosque during the occupation, have been demonstrated to the guests.

Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour has performed prayer in the Mosque.
