Tehran-Baku relations are developing on the basis of mutual respect - Iranian FM says

Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdullahian following a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani counterpart, said relations between Tehran and Baku are developing on the basis of mutual respect, APA reports.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan are two Muslim neighbors with many things in common," wrote Iranian FM on his Twitter account.

Referring to yesterday's telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, he said he had a sincere and constructive conversation with him.

On Saturday, Amir-Abdullahian and Bayramov discussed bilateral relations in a telephone conversation.
