U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Turkish FM Movlud Cavusoglu, according to the information disseminated by US State Department, APA reports.

According to the information, During the meeting held in New York within the framework of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, the sides exchanged views on multiple areas of US-Turkish cooperation, including on Afghanistan.

Turkey is an important NATO Ally that plays a significant role in regional challenges, the information reads.

According to the information of TASS, speaking to the media following the meeting, a senior US State Department official said that Blinken and Cavusoglu also held a discussion on the South Caucasus, Karabakh, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
