Head of International Department of Ministry of Education Tural Ahmadov has commented on the issue of how Afghan students entering Azerbaijani universities can come to the country, APA reports.
According to T. Ahmadov, borders are closed there, activity of the most embassies has been restricted.
“Currently, with a relevant representation of Afghanistan, we are investigating how Afgan students entering Azerbaijani universities can come to Azerbaijan. Some part of Afgan students is in our country. However, we are more interested in newly admitted students. We have not been given certain information in this context yet. We do not know whether they will be able to come or not, if they come, under what conditions and when. Therefore we are in a waiting position.”
