Aircraft of "British Airways" makes forced landing in Baku

Today the captain of “Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner” aircraft of “British Airways” airline company flying in London-Islamabad direction has decided to perform landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to heavy fog, Heydar Aliyev International Airport told "APA-Economics".

The aircraft made a successful landing at Baku airport at 09:11 Baku time.

The report says according to the duration of the flight period and procedures of the airline company, the flight team should have a rest before taking off from Baku.

Currently, the flight passengers are accommodated at transit zone of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Till the aircraft’s taking off the flight passengers may obtain visas and may leave the territory of airport in order to have a rest at the airport hotel or to walk around the city.
