Shamil Garayev detained for illegal traffic in narcotic drugs a few days ago in Balaken region of Azerbaijan has tuned out to be the son of the senior state official, APA reports citing the received information.
Shamil Garayev detained during the operation implemented by officers of the Balaken Regional Police Department is the son of Azer Garayev, the executive power representative in Gerekli village of the head of Balaken Regional Executive Power.
Shamil Garayev was deprived of liberty in 2012 for the period of 2 years based on the clause 228.4 (bearing of cold arm) of the Criminal Code.
Note that a few days ago, Shamil Garayev was detained during the operative and search measure implemented by Balaken RPD. During his personal search, the narcotic drug of heroin in 26 bundles were detected on his body and were confiscated.
