Details emerge of  young Azerbaijani man killed in car accident in Switzerland

Baku – APA. Details have emerged of an young Azerbaijani man killed in a car accident in Switzerland.

23-year-old Azer Yagubov, who died in the accident, is a son of Mahir Yagubov, former head of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Office in Moscow, APA’s Moscow correspondent has learned.

The car accident took place in the Canton of Ticino on Nov. 24. The BMW X6 driven by Azer fell into Lake Lugano. The driver and a female passenger with him died in the accident.

Russia media says Azer’s passenger was a granddaughter of Russian businessman Platon Lebedev and Azer himself was a nephew of Subhi Shikhlynsky, head of the legal department of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers.

Azer is said to have been studying in Switzerland.
