Fire in building in Baku extinguished - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

The fire that occurred in the building in Yasamal district of Baku has burned some 350-400 m² area of the roof, Samad Islamov, deputy head of Yasamal District Executive Power, said Monday.

According to him, the causes of the fire will be investigated by the related state bodies and relevant decision will be made. Appropriate assistance will be provided to the residents affected.

Chief of staff of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Akbar Novruzov said that according to initial opinion, the fire occurred due to short circuit.

The fire has already been extinguished. No one has been injured. The residents have been evacuated.

A fire occurred in a five-storey building in Inshaatchilar Avenue 152-154, Yasamal district, Baku.

The fire, occurred in the roof of the building, spread to apartments. The residents have been evacuated.

The firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire.
