Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Azerbaijan’s law-enforcement authorities have conducted another operation aimed at seizing illegally stored arms and explosives.
In a joint operation, the Main Directorate for Combating Organize Crime and Ganja police seized a ZORAKI-914 pistol, two grenades, four cartridges from Gana resident Elbrus Alakbarov’s home, a Browning pistol with erased number, two grenades and a cartridge from Orkhan Fetullayev’s home, three grenades, 12 cartridges from ex-prisoner Mahammad Huseynov’s home, two grenades from ex-prisoner Vusal Isayev’s house, an AKS-74 and 80 cartridges from Zaur Huseynov’s house, and three grenades and 37 cartridges from the latter’s brother’s house, the Interior Ministry’s press service told APA.
The Ganja Police Department has opened a criminal case on the facts.
