During January-June of this year, 76 units of buses with a total value making up $ 7,76 mln. were imported in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports according to calculations conducted by it on the basis of the indicators presented by the State Statistics Committee.
This is 29,9% more in value terms compared to the same of the last year, and 25 units or 24,8% less in quantitative terms.
Along with buses running on internal combustion engine (diesel or semi-diesel), 8 buses worth $ 231,75 thousand running on electric motor have also been brought in the country. All buses of this type have been imported from Turkey.
