The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has made a change in its decision “about approval of “The procedure of payment of export promotion incentives to persons engaged in export of non-oil products”, “The List of goods nomenclature of foreign economic activity for the non-oil products to which the export promotion incentive will be applied” and “The indexes to be applied to the basic amount of the export promotion incentive depending on types of products”.
According to the change, it has also been envisaged to terminate the requirement to include the notes of the customs agency of the destination country in the bill of lading that should be attached to the request for payment of the export promotion incentive, as well as to allow for submission to the Ministry of Finance of the instruction letters signed by the Ministry of Economy also via e-mail.
It is expected that the export promotion mechanism will be simplified and accelerated as a result of adoption of this decision.
