Within the framework of the visit of delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a meeting has been held between Energy Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Energy Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Showing results for Energy Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Reza Ardakanian, Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry told APA-Economics.
Cooperation relations between two countries in the electric energy field have been discussed at the meeting, an exchange of views has been conducted on the steps, to be taken in direction of acceleration of projects, which are carried out.
During the meeting, an exchange of views has been conducted on issues of export of electricity from Azerbaijan to Islamic Republic of Iran and construction of a power station in Azerbaijan on border with Iran by using Iranian gas and transportation of the electricity, produced in this station to Iran and third countries, as well as participation of Iranian companies in restoration-reconstruction works, to be carried out in Azerbaijani territories, liberated from occupation in the electric power field.
