Georgia decreases gas import from Azerbaijan by 7%

In the I quarter of this year, Georgia’s import of gas from Azerbaijan has decreased by 50,575.3 cubic meters or 7% in annual comparison and made up 667,698.4 cubic meters, APA’s local bureau reports citing the quarterly report of Georgia’s National Statistics Department.

In the first quarter of the current year, the value of the gas imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan made up $ 115,582.3 thousand which is less by $ 7,821.4 thousand or 6.3% in annual comparison.

Note that in January-March of the last year, Georgia imported from Azerbaijan 718,173.7 cubic meters of gas with the value of $ 123,403.7.
