Manufacturing of pharmaceutical products increased in Azerbaijan by more than 10 times

The pharmaceutical products in the amount of 0.5 million manat have been manufactured in Azerbaijan in January of this year, and this is 10.4 times more in comparison to the relative period of the previous year, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

Volume of manufacturing of pharmaceutical products has been unchanged in comparison with December of 2020.

Besides that, other medicines containing mixed or pure products, not included in other groups, packaged for retail sale in the amount of 73.3 million manat have been manufactured, and this is 72.5 % more in comparison to January of 2020.

Note that 3.3 million medical masks were produced in country during just January and ready mask reserve for February 1 has been 2.4 mln.
