“As the gas quota increased by Georgia's natural gas transit function the county’s population will benefit significantly,” Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava stated at a panel session titled “Southern Gas Corridor: Achievements and Challenges” held within the framework of Sixth Ministerial Meeting of Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council in Baku, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
She said that currently, 17 different countries are interested in attending the project: “As a result, this project will also make possible better gas supply for our country, population, and various institutions. Currently, 17 various countries, especially European countries are interested in participating in the project.”
