Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has sold 1.8 billion dollars (1.6 billion euros) of shares in the last three days of July. This is reducing its stake in Amazon, the third most valuable company in the world, to a value of $ 110 billion, APA reports citing Tellerreport.
The sale was part of a previously approved plan to sell shares. Jeff Bezos also announced earlier that he wanted to sell shares for a billion dollars to finance his rocket company Blue Origin.
Documents submitted to the regulator also showed that Bezos' former wife, Mackenzie Bezos, is the second largest shareholder in Amazon. Its stake is worth $ 37 billion.
