SOCAR Turkey Energy has invested $12.6 billion in projects such as STAR Refinery, PEtkim Petrochemical Holding, Petlim, Petkim wind power station and TANAP since 2008.
APA-Economics reports that SOCAR Turkey Energy invested %100 million in Petkim every year.
“After completion of all projects, SOCAR’s investments in Turkey will reach $19.5 billion, of which $11 billion will have been invested in Aliaga region of Izmir. STAR Refinery will be launched in the third quarter of 2018. The project costs $6 billion”, Turkish Sabah newspaper reported.
