Kyrgyzstan reports 278 new coronavirus cases, bringing total to 40,455

278 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan by the morning of August 11, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment said, APA reports citing AKI Press.

57 cases were confirmed by PCR tests and 221 cases have clinical symptoms of coronavirus (pneumonia).

These cases included 104 in Bishkek, 19 in Osh, 21 in Chui region, 34 in Osh region, 3 in Talas region, 13 in Naryn region, 17 in Issyk-Kul region, 40 in Jalal-Abad region, 27 in Batken region.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since March reached 40,455.

They include 17,633 cases confirmed by PCR tests and 22,822 pneumonia cases.
