The number of crimes, recorded by police, has increased by 9% in the first half of the current year, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2018 in Armenia, the Head of the Republic of Armenia Police Headquarters Police Colonel Armen Ghukasyan told journalists, APA reports citing Armenpress.
“11 243 criminal cases have been recorded in the first half of 2018, this indicator is 12 250 in the first half of 2019. The main reason for the rise is the increase of robbery cases,” Mr. Ghukasyan stated.
