The sanctions that were imposed by Western countries against Belarus did not achieve their goals. This statement was made by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko, APA reports citing Around World Journal.
“These sanctions have not achieved their goals,” Lukashenka said, quoted by the newspaper “SB. Belarus Today.”
The President noted that the country is feeling the negative effect of restrictive measures. At the same time, he stressed that Belarus continues to develop, thanks to timely measures taken to counter sanctions.
