“Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will hold tactical and special exercises in the near future,” said the Secretary General of the Organization Stanislav Zas at the joint meeting of foreign ministers of member countries to CSTO, defense ministers and Secretaries of the Security Council, APA reports.
According to him, exercise plans include peacekeeping, fighting against terrorism, and crisis and response measures to emergency situations.
“Effective mechanisms against terrorism and extremism, illegal migration, and drug trafficking have been created and improved in the CSTO arsenal,” he added.
