IV Baku Int’l Tourism Film Festival wraps up

A closing ceremony of IV Baku International Tourism Film Festival (BITFF) took place in Baku on Nov. 18.


Supported by APA Information Agency and organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the festival featured 84 films from 43 countries.


The BITFF 2017 jury was headed by Can Saracoglu (Turkey). The jury included Rafig Guliyev (Azerbaijan), Ulkar Mutallimova (Azerbaijan), Ewa Kotus (Poland) and Zurab Dvali (Georgia).


Addressing the closing ceremony, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev stressed the importance of the festival for Azerbaijan. He said that IV BITFF is of great importance on the international arena.


The minister added that interesting films chosen by professional specialists were presented to the jury during the festival.


IV BITFF Award List:


Grand-Prix – Kumano by Mathieu Le Lay (France)


National Award – The Breath of Volcano by Adil Azay (Azerbaijan)


Special Award of Jury – Mystery of Mersin by Onur Kiratli (Turkey)
