Jubilee Medal was awarded to World War II participants - ORDER

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on awarding participants of the Great Patriotic War jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan entitled “75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1945-2020)”, APA reports.

Based on the order, the people who took part in the military operations at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, who waged underground fight (partisan war) against the fascist occupants, who worked in the rear areas, who served during that period in the Armed Forces of the USSR have been awarded the “75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1945–2020)” jubilee medal of the Azerbaijan Republic.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic should take measures regarding the preparation of the “75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1945–2020)” jubilee medal of the Azerbaijan Republic and its certificate and should ensure drawing up of the list of the people who will be awarded the jubilee medal and presentation of the medals.
